Kenwood Easter Festival
Kenwood Residents love getting together to celebrate Easter! This year we had an Easter Festival featuring hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn, cotton candy, cake pops, and more. Residents played fun games like Truth or DUNK, Bunny Hop Race, Egg Race, and Resident Egg Hunt. Everyone had so much fun! To end the celebration, every resident received an Easter Basket personalized for them by community members and Kenwood staff.
Easter Bunnies at Kirksville Elementary!
This Easter, Kenwood Activities wanted to give back to our community and make a special visit to the 5th graders at Kirksville Elementary! An Egg Hunt in every classroom, two Easter Bunnies hopping around for photo opportunities, and Easter treats for every student made the visit extra special! Each class got tons of treats from the bunnies and every classroom had a golden egg winner who received a Walmart gift card! Huge thanks to Leah Cook, Weekend Activities Assistant and student teacher for helping us make this connection, and to Administrator Hope Smith and DON Kendra Webb for attending the outreach event as the bunnies!
