Children of Kenwood employees and resident’s grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even a few great,great-grandchildren were invited to Kenwood to take part in the facility’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza! There was even an appearance by the Easter bunny. Children collected over 300 eggs containing candy. One lucky child, who found the golden egg, won a giant chocolate Easter bunny!
Janice Jackson, Life Enrichment Director explained the importance of the event for the residents, “ It gives them a part of Easter that they don’t always have with their families anymore. Several residents don’t have family in the area so we are able to invite the children, “ she said. “They can see them out here Easter egg hunting and it makes them so happy to be a part of this event.”
Events like this are hosted regularly at Kenwood for our residents, staff, family, and community so that we can all come together as one in the care and support for your loved one.
