This month, Employee of the Month can only go to Kenwood’s Administrator, Hope Smith! Hope started working at Kenwood 20 years ago as a CNA. She has served in many different roles in the building including CNA, receptionist, Restorative aid, Human Resource Director, Education Training Director, Staffing Coordinator, Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and finally Administrator. Throughout her 20 years of service, Hope has demonstrated dedication, love, compassion, friendship, and made sacrifices. She is very loyal to Kenwood. Her resilience has made her a steady presence through every challenge the facility has faced. Hope is a great leader and is always hands-on and in the trenches during times of crisis. She has worked countless hours on the floor filling in for all positions and has worked in every department. She always goes above and beyond to make sure Kenwood residents receive excellent care. Hope also supports many other facilities throughout the region.
